Should i give AAU baseball a try?
Well im on 12u and have been playing basketball for 3 years and this would be my 2nd year playing baseball. A coach called me mom and told her he has seen me play last year and thought i should play for his aau team. i am a awsome hitter, but not that good at defense. Would i be good at playing aau baseball on 12u?
I think you should give baseball a try period. If you are a good hitter then go for it. Just play baseball whether it’s little league, babe ruth, summer teams, fall teams…just get involved.
Is AAU the right fit for you? That’s up to you and your family and how much you can commit. There is no question that you can improve your defense if you put some hard work into it.
I don’t think a coach would call your home asking for you to play if you couldn’t be good at playing in this AAU league.
