baseball spring training in florida?
I am from detroit and will be planning to go to florida to see the tigers play in lakeland. I also would like to be near some really nice beaches as well. I love st. pete too. What’s a good city to stay in which is between lakeland and st. pete where there is a lot to do and a lot of baseball

I stayed in Tampa last year. It was nice but, was very dirty. Maybe it was the area I stayed in. …….Days inn on Melbourne ave. (near the shell gas station) a few blocks from Ybor City
Stay in Temple Terrace. They built a new La Quinta inn on Fletcher near I-75 North. Continue north on I-75 to Bruce B. Downs and you’ll see some places to eat and drink, ie. Chili’s etc. For the beach head to Clearwater Beach. More baseball can be seen in Tampa(Yankee’s), Clearwater(Phillie’s), Dunedin(Bluejay’s). Someone at the airport will help you with the car rental.
