Why is the baseball trophy called the world series, when only one country participates?
America has the most money of countries that play baseball, which mean only the best of the best play in American Major League Baseball, cause they get the most money for playing in America. Almost all if not all teams have a player from another country.
That’s why it is the world series. Take the best team from America, whether it be the Dodgers, Angels, Yankees or Phillies, and match them against any other professional team from another country like Japan and the American team would stomp.
