Left Handed Baseball Gloves

algebra homework!!!!!!!!!?
im stuck on these 3 questions! im supposed to figureout the x and y and the equations.
okay…
1.The volleyball club has 41 members. There are 3 more boys then there are girls. How many members are girls?
The sum of two numbers is 15. Twice one number equals 3 times another. Find the numbers.
A sporting goods store sells right-handed and left-handed baseball gloves. In one month, 12 gloves were sold for a total revenue of $461. Right-handed gloves cost $45 and left handed gloves cost $s2. How many of each type of glove did they sell?
1. Let x be the number of girls, thus for boys there are 3 + x.
now to find how many girls let the function be 41 = (3 + x) + x, now solve for x.
2. Since the some of two numbers is 15. Let x + y = 15.
Let x and y be two numbers.
So, 2x = 3y Now, solve for one of the variables. I solved for y. Which let’s y = 2/3x.
Now plug y into the equation x + y = 15
3. This problem is very similar to number two, but let x = the price of each right handed gloves and let y = price of each left handed gloves
