What would you have to do to get into Little League Baseball?
If you’re referring to the stuff on TV, those are hand picked teams that just play in a league that is sanctioned by the Little League Baseball Association. The key, as many of those coaches will tell you, to winning the LL WS is having a team that can afford to and is willing to travel.
I’ve never understood why the big deal about LL baseball – with the tight bases and little fields. There’s much better baseball to watch with higher skilled players. (My son played on a field the size they are playing on at 8 years old! What is the skill in a 12 year old dominating on that little bitty field?)
