National Baseball Training Academy
Service academy leadership question?
I am definitely going to apply for all of the major academies. The only problem is that I don’t think I have enough leadership. The only thing I have done is 1 week volunteering at a camp(my title was leader in training) but I strongly disliked it so I wont go back, 2 weeks volunteering at a baseball camp(which I attended the 3 prior years) and I love so I will volunteer at as often as possible. I play on a baseball team that goes to national tournaments every year, and I pitch and catch(leader positions in my opinion). I am only a freshman so I have a lot of time to get more experience as a leader. What are some leadership ideas(besides class council and clubs)?

Im confused.
How do you plan to apply for all of them? Firstly, you need to send letters requesting nominations from a US Rep/Senator (Or vice president, or president). I would imagine you would have to specify which academy you wish to attend, and if a senator got several requests to different service academys from the same kid, than obviously his heart is not in one branch. My point being, choose one to aim for. You can not simply send in an application like most colleges/universities.
Though, i would hope, if you want to attend a service academy, you already knew this.
